FI.BE-MIRAY is an association established in november 2012 and based in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar 🇲🇬
Our mission is to preserve the moral values of the RAMASY family and safeguard the customs inherited from our ancestors while providing children with cultural, social and economic development opportunities to ensure a better future for them within the Betsileo community.
The members of the FI.BE-MIRAY association, consisting of the elders of the legitimate children and/or direct descendants of RAMASY Paul and RAZAIARIVONY Hélène (both deceased), are responsible for preserving and restoring the parental authority of each respective family. They ensure the adherence to customs and traditions while promoting a responsible and engaged education for the collective well-being.
The association serves as an exemplary advisory body to its members, providing unwavering support and utmost respect for human values to each family.
It is from this heritage that the association draws inspiration and aims to defend Malagasy values, its unchanging culture, and the wisdom passed down by the Betsileo ancestors.

Members of the permanent board :Â
In order to carry out its missions, FI.BE-MIRAY has adopted its own statutes, common to any association, which have led to the creation of its decision-making bodies : a General Assembly and a permanent office based in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar.
Despite its small size, these two bodies enable active participation and clear representation of members from different constituent families.
Under the authority and leadership of its current President, RAMASY LĂ©opold, and the executive committee, the association’s projects and work are defined and finalized during the regular Annual General Assembly.
February & October, 2025 :
As part of the promotion of Betsileo culture for the development of agriculture and livestock farming in the Haute Matsiatra region, the President of the FI.BE-MIRAY association visited the Agricultural Exhibition and the Chocolate Expo held at the Parc des Expositions – Paris / Porte de Versailles in 2025.Â
Traveling along the RN7, the southern road offers magnificent landscapes and the opportunity to witness firsthand the vastness of the Ihorombe Plateau, the discovery of the new sapphire town in Ilakaka, as well as the legendary Isalo massif, where you can try to catch the last rays of the setting sun through its famous stone window!
The Isalo site burned down, but the sun had nothing to do with it.
Fortunately, nature has a way of reclaiming itself in most cases, and we hope that in the near future, the call of the Great South will be there for our next visit to distant horizons.Â

BEMASOANDRO-LALAZANA: It can be said that this year’s rice harvest in Andranotakatra has been promising after a few lean years. However, at the national level, rice production, the foundation of Malagasy diet, is declining due to climate change, requiring the introduction of new and innovative farming methods for its development.
